Hi, friends! Hope that all is well with all of you. As you may have observed, it’s been a while — ages — since I last dropped by to post something. I’m juggling so many important and exciting things as of late, writing about food has taken a back seat. I miss writing dearly, times like this particular chapter of my life require me to make tough decisions to prioritize other matters that are dear to the heart, just like this passion to cook, write, and share. Details? Maybe one of these days. Let’s just say that there have been many good developments. I am thankful for these, and I am grateful for these blessings!
I bought a book from Harvard Business Review recently on time management. And one of the principles of good time management is to accept that we cannot all do everything all in one day. I needed to accept this reality just recently. And you know what, it’s actually liberating. You get more sleep because of it!
So, I am taking a hiatus from blogging starting today (officially) up to the first week of December.
At this point, I realize that I owe you guys some notification as some people have been wondering why I haven’t been able to update the blog. I am actually touched. When I started writing online in 2008, I saw it as a personal outlet as I transitioned from media to the corporate world. While I am not an Epicurious or any other prominent food site, it has been wonderful receiving readers from all over the world. And so, while I stay true to writing as a purely personal outlet, I am honored and very privileged to write for all of you.
Still, do keep in touch. I’ll still be cooking. I’ll still be eating. And I’ll still be sharing in the next several weeks. After all, I’m on Twitter and Instagram. My username is ralphguzman.
Take care and God bless us all!
