An Invitation to Everyone (Update)

Dear everyone,

I am just amazed at how fast the year 2008 has flown, and with it, I am just thrilled at the big number of people who have visited this site.  Many of you I know personally, while more, I have not yet met.  Whether you visited for the commentaries, recipes, research, random thoughts and reflections — whatever the reason — thank you very much.   I am glad to know that I am able to connect with you through this site.  I’m simply amazed that this site has been read in every single continent!

As this site continues to evolve from month to month, allow me to make this special announcement and invitation (and to a large extent, experiment — because this would depend on your response).

I would like to open this site as a portal by which I could give advice and insight to your own personal and professional problems and concerns.  Yes, as of today, I am also opening this site as an “advice blog”.

Why this all of a sudden?  Because I believe in the power of writing in being able to help and serve.  I have given professional and personal advice to so many friends, so why not expand the reach of my advice?

I’d be happy to share my insights on these matters:

  • Professional Relationships
  • Personal Relationships
  • Answering to Your Calling or Purpose
  • Questions about the Philippine Media, particularly TV News
  • Interpersonal and Organizational Communication Problems
  • Workplace conflicts
  • Food (yum! yum!)
  • Almost anything under the sun!!! (just don’t borrow money from me, because I don’t have any. Hehehe)

I plan to invite guests to my site from time to time, to answer some of the problems with me, and this is something I am indeed very excited about.

To start sharing, click here.

If you would like me to, I would be glad to conceal your name for your convenience.  I have plans of coming up with a simple form for you to fill up later on for your convenience (so far, the ones I’ve tried to install have only made the site crash).  Please don’t forget to write your age, gender, and city/country.

I have no illusions about being an expert.  I simply want to be a friend. All things considered, I have been pleased to read that the meanings of the name “Ralph” are: 1) Wolf in counsel; and 2) Fearless Counselor or Adviser.  Well, time to really make this true.

Always,
