A true broadcast journalism legend who has been a good example and inspiration to a countless number of journalists all around the world has passed away. Walter Cronkite, 92 years old, was best known as anchor of the CBS Evening News from 1962 to 1981. A poll in the 1970’s even described him as “America’s most trusted man”. Reports indicate that he died of cerebral vascular disease.
